One of the challenges of Web development is designing Web pages that can look good on the plethora of monitor sizes and their resolution settings. While there are still 13-inch monitors in use, today's screen sizes are typically 15-19 diagonal inches. The old standard resolution of 640x480 pixels has been replaced by 800x400 (for now). It is tempting to design Web pages for today's larger screens (and higher resolution settings). However, these pages will not fit on the smaller screens (or look good with older graphics cards). And let's face it, making the reader not have to scroll left and right is still a prime concern. Bee-low is an aid to help you visualize the many possible browser window sizes that will bee used by others to view your Web pages. We Bees hope this rather large image makes you appreciate the need to address screen sizes with the same respect as the other types of "audiences."
