There are four Beehive Awards:
These awards may bee earned by individuals and organizations
who publish Web titles on specific topics of interest to others.
Topics may bee cultural (a community arts festival), reference
(a historical landmark), leisure (a recreational park), maps
(a scenic bike route), and so on.

| Purpose. The Beehive Award
is for Web excellence at the local
level (South Central Indiana). Objective. The intent of this award is to encourage Web content on topics relevant to this Beehive's service area. Examples are local events, architecture, performing artists, recipes, and so on. Requirements. A score of 90 or higher. All residents and organizations residing in this Beehive's service area may nominate a Web title (their own or someone else's) for a Beehive Award at any time. However, the Web title must bee on a topic or subject unique to this geographical area. A Web title may bee nominated only once during a twelve-month period. Rewards. Recipients earn the right to display the Beehive Award and are given a Special Recognition Listing in the most appropriate area(s) of the Beehive Directory. |

Web excellence by Indiana-based
Web author(s) outside this Beehive's
service area (South Central Indiana). Objective. This award is meant to encourage the publication of Web pages on topics relevant or unique to Indiana and Hoosiers. Requirements. A score of 90 or higher. All Indiana-based individuals and organizations residing outside this Beehive's service area must apply for the Hoosier Stars Award. As you might guess, Web title(s) must bee on a Hoosier topic. A Web title may bee nominated only once during a twelve-month period. Rewards. Recipients earn the right to display the Hoosier Stars Award and are given a Special Recognition Listing in the most appropriate area(s) of the Beehive Directory. |

| Purpose. The WeB Pix Award
signifies Web excellence by those residing outside Indiana. Objective. The WeB Pix Award is a symbol of respect for informative and useful Web titles of general interest to the rest of the world. Requirements. A score of 90 or higher. Individuals and organizations must reside outside Indiana. Submitted Web titles must bee on a specific topic or subject. General information sites are not eligible. A Web title may bee nominated only once during a twelve-month period. Rewards. Recipients earn the right to display the WeB Pix Award and are given a Special Recognition Listing in the most appropriate area(s) of the Beehive Directory. |

| Purpose. The Golden Hive
Award was created to identify supreme achievement in all areas
of Web arts and sciences at any level (local,
state, or global). Objective. The intent of this award is to showcase Web titles that have (in our humble Bee opinions) achieved a rare "top 1%" status in content, overall design, graphics, readability, accessibility, functionality, techniques, methodologies, presentation, and uniqueness. Requirements. A score of 99 or higher. (You cannot apply for this award.) Rewards. Recipients earn the right to display the Golden Hive Award, and their site badge is inducted into the Golden Hive of Fame. A Special Recognition Listing is also placed in the most appropriate area(s) of the Beehive Directory. |
